Favorite Blog Post
This was my favorite blog post because i thought it was funny taken pictures of my teacher Mr.Farley and my other group member. I learned that there is many different ways of taking photos and rule of thirds was one of them, I really enjoyed doing the rule of thirds. Mr.Farley gave good tips on how to take the photos and i did really well.

My Favorite Photo
This is my favorite photo that i took because i had fun doing this assignment, i captured the picture at a good angle while she was throwing something. The good thing about the photo is that she's smiling and you can tell that she had fun.

Favorite Semester Picture 

This is one of my favorite semester picture because i like the angle of the photo. I love the background to this photo. We choose this spot to take the photo because we wanted to be on the track where it says Pittsburg. I love our emotions in this photo and our position. 

Best Photo

I choose this photo to be my best photo that i took because i love the background. I like the position of the photo i made sure that my group member Lynette was in the middle. I also like the this photo I took because i wanted her sitting next to the word Pirates on the track. I really enjoyed taking her photo's.

Advantages in a group:                                           

• Working in a group make people closer 
• If your not sure on what the teacher is saying a group member is there to help you 
• Working together could make your work better 

Disadvantages in a group:

• Some people like working alone
• A group member is not good with people
• Some people do good all by themselves

Before & After Photo of Mr.Farley

I adjusted the color on Mr.Farley photo i believed the picture was not at its right color so i lowered the temperature on the photo. It made a huge difference and it makes the picture much better in my opinion.

The project that would interest me next semester is taking pictures in motion. I would also like for every group to pick something and we do each one that interest us as a class. We could do another fun thing like the post we took for the final project. 

Mr.Farley is a "Hecka free zone" because he doesn't like the word. 

1st Semester- Final Project

Me and my group went out on the football field & planned out how we wanted to take our photos. It took us the whole period to try and figure out how we wanted the pictures. I believe our photos came out great. My group and i are getting better at taking photos each time we go out. My group did really good on this project. We had fun while we did it and we enjoyed our time out there shooting.

            My group chose Minor White, he is known as taking black and white photos. Minor White was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He got his degree in minor English his first great accomplishment was creative poetry. In 1938 he moved to Oregon and began doing photography.  He also served in the military during World War II. After serving in the military Minor moved to New Yoek and studied to develop his own style.   He inspired children to take photos by creativity and emothions. Minor White was a good teacher he wanted his students to have talent and to be able to take good photos.
           My group and I was inspired by Minor White's work because he wanted to influence his student to be a good photographer. His photos is based on emotion i think its important because you can see the real meaning of the photo. Minor Whites beautiful pictures encouraged me to take good photos. When reading about Minor White I began using his tips in my photos. I would like to study more about Minor in order to be a better photographer.Minor white was a very successful man and i plan on being just like him.
           This are the photos i took of people smiling because they are showing that they are happy. I like my photos because i asked random teacher and people who worked at the school to take a photo of. Each person i took a photo of was really happy and smiled for the camera. I stopped people in the hallway because they look happy and smiled for the camera.

This last photo I took of my group off gaurd walking together. I really believe this is a good black and white picture of my groups. All of my photos are in black and white and i tried to catch emotion and i edited it to show my creativity. 

Minor White

                                          Minor White 

My group and i picked Minor White because we loiked his black and white photos. Minor White was born on July 9, 1908 and died June 24,1976. He began taking the role of a photgrapher in 1938 when he moved to Portland, Oregon. The picture White liked to take was barns, doorways, water, and the sky. His most famous picture is called Frost on Window.  White wanted to capture emotion, a symbol that creats his meaning of what he is capturing. I acknowledge his work because they are really beautiful in balck and white.  I would like to take picture and learn more  about Minor White.

I picked these 10 links beacuse they show me alot of things that you could do in photography. Many of them had alot of different ways to take a picture. I picked alot of links that had to do with outdoor because in adv. photo we are always outside. I learned new ways to take picture hopefully i could try them one day. I could take better portraits by studying my new links.
